Paint Sprayer/Prepper
Hours: 08:00-17:00 Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week

Reports to: Workshop Manager
The Role
Working as part of our Carpentry Team based at our St Albans joinery workshop. Using professional workshop equipment to prepare products to a high standard and within the agreed lead-times for our customers. Overseeing and maintaining the warehouse facilities, ensuring all the stock is kept safe, tidy & organised and deliveries are booked in.
Main Duties
- Preparation work including unwrapping, checking, cleaning, filling and sanding of doors and frames, before, during and after spraying has occurred
- Assisting with checking the quality of all incoming doors
- Assisting with the warehouse operation – lifting heavy doors, storage of doors. Keeping the warehouse tidy and ensuring health and safety measures are adhered to
- Ensuring stock is stored in correct locations for stock checks
General Duties
- Deliver excellent customer service that exceeds all customer’s expectations
- Take in deliveries and follow the Company processes to conclusion
- Keep warehouse, yard and all other carpentry areas clean and tidy
- Behave courteously and professionally at all times with awareness that customers may observe your behaviour and demeanour
- Ensure all promises made to customers are realistic, achievable and are completed
- Ensure that all Company systems and procedures are followed at all times
- Keep a tidy, safe working environment following all Health and Safety procedures
- Supplied company uniform to be worn at all times and kept neat, clean and presentable
- Report any Health and Safety issues to your Line Manager
- Take on any reasonable ad hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of The Company
Counterbalance forklift license would be advantageous but not essential.
Pay: £30,784.00 per year
