Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. Covering the reception desk, the ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service whilst managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet patients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette
Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and postal mail
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and digital documents
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing diaries
Provide clerical support to the backend office, as needed
Keep the clinic tidy, organised and presentable
Handle stock deliveries and manage displays
Clinical assistance to Podiatrists

Requirements

Previous reception/office experience is essential, with a preference for candidates with front desk and telephone experience
Proficient computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
Familiarity with data entry processes and clerical duties
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to learn new tasks within a reasonable time

We are a modern and very busy private practice based in Edgware, North West London. Established in 2011, we have grown from a single chair clinic to a three chair clinic. We operate from clean and modern premises, within minutes of Burnt Oak Tube Station and multiple buses that stop at walking distance.
