Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Drinking Water Bottling Plant Operator with machine maintenance responsibilities. The successful candidate will oversee the packaging process, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and perform routine maintenance on machinery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital part of the food production industry, ensuring high-quality bottled water reaches consumers efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Operate bottling and packaging machinery in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor production lines to ensure efficient and continuous operation.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimise downtime.
Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards throughout all processes.
Conduct quality checks on bottled water to maintain product integrity.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area in line with food safety protocols.
Record production data accurately using basic maths skills for inventory and quality control purposes.
Assist in training new team members as required.

Skills

Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
Experience or understanding of food production processes.
Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues promptly. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of product quality and safety within our drinking water bottling plant, contributing significantly to our commitment to delivering safe, clean drinking water to our customers.
