Full job description

Job Profile

Works as part of the structured cabling team to assist the cabling engineer with the installation of a wide range of cable types within various environments (customer premises)

Key Tasks/Responsibilities

Assists the cabling engineer in the delivery of the structured cabling service
Assists with the installation, termination and testing of structured cabling within commercial, industrial, marine and offshore environments.
Assists with testing and commissioning structured cabling installations.
Performs all duties in a positive and professional manner and assists in the promotion of a productive team environment.
Maintains personal productivity and quality standards that enable the company to continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.

Qualifications/Skills

Good communication skills.
Strong hand skills and the ability to use a wide range of tools.
A reasonable level of physical fitness, as the work can involve stretching, bending, kneeling and long periods of standing.
Familiar with Health and Safety requirements.

Special Requirements

Willing to work overtime and weekends.
