Unity Schools Partnership is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Trust Compliance Manager (Operations / Estates) to support our ambition for excellence across all schools within the trust.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring statutory compliance and consistency of operational services across the trust, with a particular focus on compliance. This is a varied, hands-on role that will see you working closely with school leaders, site teams and the central operations team to promote safe working practices and a strong culture of compliance.

Key responsibilities

Support the delivery of the Trust’s Health and Safety Policy and promote a strong health and safety culture across all sites

Act as a Trust expert on compliance

Carry out internal compliance audits and risk assessments, managing actions through to completion

Oversee and maintain a database of school risk assessments and compliance records

Keep up to date with changes in legislation and ensure these are implemented across the Trust

Work collaboratively with Headteachers, Site Managers and contractors to ensure safe systems of work

Assist with asset management and compliance systems across the Trust
What we’re looking for
Essential:
-
Proven experience of regulatory compliance and risk assessments
-
Strong knowledge of compliance legislation
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
Desirable:
-
Experience working within an educational setting
-
NEBOSH qualification
-
Additional compliance-related training (e.g. fire safety, asbestos, legionella)
