Full job description

Emtelle are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR & Payroll Administrator to join our friendly HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, taking ownership, and being right at the heart of everything we do. No two days are the same, and you’ll play a key role in keeping our people processes running smoothly.

What you'll do:

Processing monthly payroll information accurately and on time
Keeping a close eye on absence processes and supporting managers where needed
Coordinating weekly Occupational Health clinics across Jedburgh and Hawick
Supporting recruitment activitiy and managing candidate processes
Assisting with employee relations casework
Maintain and update employee records to ensure everything stays accurate and up to date
Responding to employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies in a helpful and timely way.

About you:

You've got a solid understanding of HR principles and payroll processes.
You are a strong communicator, comfortable working with people at all levels.
You've got great attention to detail and pride yourself on accuracy
You're well organised, able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
You're confident using MS Office, especially Excel
