Full job description

FT (37.5 hours) or PT (minimum 22.5 hours)

£26,500 to £29,000 FTE (depending on experience)

We are dedicated to supporting the communities we live and work within, providing approximately 500 local jobs, respecting the environment, and contributing to rural culture through our heritage for generations to come. Our teams carefully manage complex economic, community and environmental considerations across a range of sectors, for the benefit of people and places.

The role? You’ll join a friendly and supportive HR team and play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be involved in everything from supporting recruitment and onboarding to maintaining records, responding to queries and helping manage day-to-day HR administration. It’s a great opportunity to build broad HR experience in a busy environment where your work genuinely makes a difference, and no two days feel the same.

The person? We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team. You’ll be comfortable managing a varied workload, confident using systems and have a strong eye for detail, along with clear communication skills. Just as importantly, you’ll be approachable, positive and take pride in doing a job well. This role would suit someone starting out in HR or building on previous admin experience and is keen to learn and get involved.
