Key Responsibilities
- Supporting clinical staff within the A&E department
- Assisting with patient care and ensuring patient comfort and dignity
- Managing high-pressure situations in a calm and professional manner
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Following all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Assisting with general duties to ensure smooth running of the department
Requirements
- Previous experience working in A&E or a similar acute healthcare setting (essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
- Emotionally resilient and able to handle challenging behavior
- Thick-skinned, confident, and capable of dealing with sensitive or distressing situations
- Flexible and reliable with good attendance

Pay: £12.71-£13.21 per hour
