Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:
Lead day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of business-critical systems and services.
Infrastructure Management:
Oversee cloud environments, servers, networks, endpoint management, and enterprise platforms while driving continuous optimization initiatives.
Service Delivery:
Establish and maintain high service standards through effective incident management, problem resolution, and operational governance.
Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and develop technical teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Security & Compliance:
Partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity practices, risk management processes, and compliance initiatives.
Vendor & Partner Management:
Build strong relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery and value.
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to technology roadmaps, capacity planning, operational budgeting, and infrastructure modernization projects.
Performance Management:
Monitor KPIs, service metrics, and operational performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
What We Are Looking For:Experience:
7+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Management, Technical Operations, or Service Delivery, including leadership responsibilities.
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, and operational best practices.
Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, managing priorities, and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to analyze complex operational challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective long-term solutions.
Communication:
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
Certifications:
Professional certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Azure, AWS, CISSP, or equivalent are advantageous but not required.
Mindset:
You are proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused. You understand how to balance operational stability with innovation and continuous improvement.
Pay: £87,105.05-£104,071.05 per year
