Role title: Real Estate Finance Analyst (Degree Apprentice)
Training Programme: BSc (Hons) Real Estate Development and Management — Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship (University of Salford)
Location: Spinningfields, Manchester (with day-release at Salford, Peel Park campus)
Hours: 35 hours per week (one day day-release study)
Term: 5-year fixed-term apprenticeship contract, leading to BSc (Hons) and RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC)
To support the advisory team across live property finance transactions while working towards chartered surveyor status, applying academic learning to real deals across development finance, bridging, and term funding.

Assist in preparing development appraisals, viability assessments, and cashflow models for client schemes

Build and maintain comparable evidence for valuations and GDV assessments

Review RICS Red Book valuation reports and summarise key findings for the deal team

Support credit file preparation and lender submissions

Conduct market research on property values, rents, yields, and finance terms

Assist with financial analysis, including cost-of-debt comparisons across lenders
-
Maintain deal records and pipeline data (e.g. CRM management)

Liaise with clients, lenders, valuers, and solicitors under supervision

Attend site visits and inspections

Minimum 104 UCAS tariff points, plus GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above (or via Salford’s alternative entry scheme)

Numerate and comfortable with spreadsheets and financial concepts

Strong written communication

Genuine interest in property, development, and real estate finance
