Full job description

Receptionist (Part-Time – 15 Hours per Week)

The Royal Maritime Hotel is a 3-star hotel with 89 bedrooms, extensive leisure facilities, and a range of banqueting and event spaces. Situated close to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, the hotel has charitable status and is steeped in Royal Navy history.

We are licensed to host marriage and civil partnership ceremonies and offer a variety of function suites, including a ballroom that can accommodate up to 400 guests.

We are currently looking to recruit a part-time Receptionist to join our Front Office team of 10 staff.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in a busy hotel reception or front office environment. A qualification in hospitality or front-of-house operations would be an advantage but is not essential. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, be well organised, and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The role is 15 hours per week, worked over two shifts. You must be available to work a rota that includes early and late shifts, weekends, and occasional night shifts when required.

Salary: £12.71 per hour.
