Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for fresh, local & seasonal food to develop their skills within a professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauce stations
Ensure all food prepared meets safety and hygiene regulations
Assist in meal preparation during busy service periods to maintain efficiency
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations at all times
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Support junior kitchen staff and provide guidance when necessary

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Previous fresh food experience is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential
