The Account Director Role

The Account Director is a senior role responsible for driving strategic growth and long-term value across Xtravirt’s most important client relationships. This role oversees the development, health, and performance of key accounts, ensuring alignment between client objectives and Xtravirt’s service capabilities. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Account Director influences strategic direction, fosters innovation, and secures Xtravirt’s position as a long-term partner.

Key responsibilites

Strategic account management: Lead and grow strategic accounts in line with company objectives
Client relationship leadership: Build and maintain executive-level relationships, serving as the senior point of contact
Revenue growth: Drive upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion across Xtravirt’s core and ecosystem offerings
Needs assessment: Identify evolving client needs and align solutions accordingly
Issue resolution: Ensure timely and effective resolution of client concerns
Reporting & analysis: Deliver regular account performance updates to senior leadership
Feedback loop: Capture client insights to inform service and product development

Qualifications and experience

Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and inspire performance
Strategic thinking: Strong analytical and planning skills to drive growth
Relationship management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with executive-level stakeholders
Solution acumen: Deep understanding of private cloud and associated services
Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Problem solving: Creative and proactive approach to client challenges
Opportunity management: Skilled in managing multiple priorities and aligning internal resources
Attention to detail: Precision in documentation, proposals, and follow-ups
Networking: Active engagement in industry events and thought leadership
