Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Event Security Officer and be the frontline guardian of safety and order at high-profile events. In this vital role, you will ensure the security of attendees, staff, and property by proactively monitoring the event environment, managing access points, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Your vigilance and professionalism will create a safe, enjoyable experience for all participants while upholding the highest standards of security protocol. Duties

Conduct thorough surveillance of event premises using CCTV systems to monitor activity and identify potential security threats.
Manage access control by verifying credentials, issuing passes, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
Perform loss prevention measures by observing for suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency services as needed.
Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor movements throughout the event duration.
Conduct regular patrols around the venue to ensure all entry points, exits, and sensitive areas are secure.
Enforce event policies and communicate clearly with attendees and staff to promote a safe environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in security roles or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to deter theft and unauthorized access.
Ability to perform basic first aid procedures confidently in emergency situations.
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during events.
Valid certifications in security or relevant training such as First Aid are advantageous but not required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected.
