About Us:
Quality Workwear Services is a growing specialist in the supply, laundering and management of workwear and PPE. We pride ourselves on delivering a reliable, high-quality service to our customers, ensuring garments are processed efficiently, accurately and to the highest standards.
We are looking for a proactive and organised Production Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of our production and office operations. This is a varied, hands on role that requires someone who enjoys working across different departments, helping to improve processes, supporting colleagues and ensuring our customers receive excellent service.
The Role:
The Production Coordinator will work closely with the Director, Supervisor and office team to ensure production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Rather than managing staff, you’ll be responsible for monitoring workflows, assisting where required, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing feedback to help maintain high operational standards.
This role combines office administration, customer support and practical assistance within the laundry and production areas when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and monitor daily production processes to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Support the smooth operation of both the production floor and office.
- Assist the laundry team during busy periods or where additional support is needed.
- Monitor workflow and identify areas for process improvements.
- Report observations, issues and recommendations to the Supervisor and Director.
- Help ensure company procedures and quality standards are consistently followed.
- Liaise with customers regarding enquiries, orders, deliveries and service requirements.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional communication.
- Assist with general office administration and production paperwork.
- Support order processing, garment tracking and record keeping.
- Work alongside the Director and finance team to ensure customer payments, invoicing queries and account administration are dealt with efficiently.
- Help coordinate communication between the office and production teams.
- Assist with stock monitoring, garment movements and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure health and safety procedures and company policies are followed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Carry out other reasonable duties to support the day-to-day operation of the business.
About You:

- Competent using Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in production coordination, manufacturing, logistics or laundry operations.
- Previous customer service or administration experience.
- Experience working within process-driven environments.
- Knowledge of workwear, PPE or commercial laundry operations would be advantageous but is not essential.
