Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable barber to join Cave Studios as a Barber. This role involves providing exceptional hairdressing and grooming services to clients, ensuring a welcoming environment and fostering customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience in hair styling, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth for a barber who is looking to work self employed and develop their own brand within Cave studios. You will rent your chair on a monthly basis, with all bills included and will have your own dedicated space and access to our facilities 24/7.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair styling, cutting, colouring, and grooming services tailored to client preferences
- Provide personalised consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the work area and tools
- Build rapport with clients to foster repeat business and customer loyalty
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and barbering
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good condition and properly sanitised after each use
Requirements
- Proven experience in barbering or hair styling with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse clients
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Knowledge of current hair trends, colour techniques, and grooming products
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in barbering or hairdressing are preferred but not essential
