Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring excellent guest services, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, fostering a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with strong management skills and a background in hospitality or guest services.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery across all departments
Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve organisational goals and maintain high standards of guest satisfaction
Coordinate staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to optimise efficiency
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the workplace
Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to uphold excellent customer service standards
Collaborate with management to develop strategies for service improvement and operational excellence
Conduct regular staff training sessions to promote professional development and uphold organisational policies
Monitor inventory levels and oversee stock control processes as needed

Skills

Proven management experience within a hospitality or guest service environment
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and develop teams
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and tact
Organised with exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
