Front of House Deli Assistant – Farm Shop & Butchery
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Front of House Deli Assistant to join our busy farm shop and butchery team for up to 30 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have previous deli, food retail, or farm shop experience and a genuine passion for quality food and food provenance. You will be confident serving customers, preparing and presenting products, and maintaining high standards throughout the shop.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving customers on the deli and butchery counters
- Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge
- Preparing and replenishing displays
- Assisting with day-to-day running of the shop
- Maintaining cleanliness and food hygiene standards
- Working efficiently during busy periods
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a similar role
- Has a passion for food, local produce, and customer service
- Can work on their own initiative
- Works well as part of a team
- Is reliable, organised, and personable
