Job Purpose:
To apply on a day-to-day basis the Employability centre's provision as part of the company’s ethos, and positive behaviour management strategy, to ensure engagement and student progression is at the forefront of all our efforts.
· Carry out the Receptionist function to assist with the smooth running of the school.
· Always ensure children are safe by applying the company’s safeguarding policies and procedures.
· To ensure good communication links with commissioning Schools, Local Authorities, students and parents.
· To provide administrative support to Middle Leadership and Senior Leadership Team.
· Active within general tidiness and cleanliness of the Hub.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Meet and greet visitors to the employability centre's reception – ensuring compliance with signing in.
· Answering incoming phone calls and communicating messages to the relevant members of staff promptly.
· Be responsible for visitor lanyards.
· Ensure the visitor diary is kept up to date.
· Managing displays and noticeboards.
· Communication with Parents.
· Complete administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying.
· Ensure that all the policies and procedures adopted by the company are followed, ensuring the students’ safety and welfare at all times.
· Ensure all incidents relating to students are recorded on Cpoms.
· Demonstrate a consistent approach to create and sustain a controlled, orderly environment.
· Promote positive behavioural change around the Hub in order to assist other members of staff supporting students who experience social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
· Attend any student review / face to face meetings to capture and minute/ note as required.
· To carry out any reasonable request from the Senior Leadership Team.

Mon-Fri 9am-3.30pm
30 hours per week for 39 weeks plus 6 weeks paid holiday (incl. bank holidays).
