Company Overview

Nenplas Ltd is a leading supplier in the plastics manufacturing industry, specializing in extruded and plastic products. Committed to innovation and quality, we serve a diverse range of clients with tailored plastic solutions.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Document Engineer to join our team. This role will sit within the production admin team whilst working very closely with the NPD team in ensuring the accuracy and clarity of our technical documentation.
Responsibilities

Update and maintain the master tagged samples, sample room, gauge requests and sample rack.
Maintain calibration records
Lead handover meetings of new products, reviewing and requesting information for set ups, packing and gauges.
Create part codes, BOM set ups and narrations on Syspro.
Create and manage the Engineering Change Notice process.
Create samples requests, and issue, updating tracker when complete.
Liaise with purchasing of new materials, packaging, Technical Data Sheets and Material Data Sheets.
Inputting setting sheets from the Development Engineer into the system and issuing.
Maintaining all control registers and tracker documents
Managing document control and release, updating tooling pack with approved die drawings, setting sheets, packing specs, quality specs and quality control reports.
Ensuring all product information that has been issued to production is correct and relevant.
Use 2D drafting for packing specs.
Maintain part number on hold status.
Qualifications
Proven experience in technical document management.
Proficiency in Word processing software.
Experience to Syspro ERP system would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Knowledge of technical standards relevant to plastics manufacturing is a plus.
Prior experience in engineering or technical documentation roles is preferred.
