About the role Poly-Props makes specialist coatings, paints, foams, and studio materials for the film, TV, theatre, and cosplay industries.
We're a small, fast-moving team, and we need someone who shows up ready to work, takes ownership of tasks, and takes pride in doing things properly.
This is a physical, hands-on role. No two days are the same.
What you'll be doing
Warehouse duties: picking and packing orders accurately, keeping stock organised, taking and processing deliveries.
Production: mixing and filling paint and coating products, cleaning equipment and the production area. You must be able to lift and handle drums and containers safely.
Content support: setting up and packing down materials for product photography, video shoots, and demos.
Customer-facing: answering the phone, responding to basic customer queries, and passing anything complex to the right person.
What we need from you You are reliable. You turn up, on time, every time. You can work independently and stay productive without being managed minute to minute. You take ownership. That means not just completing tasks, but thinking about how they could be done better. If you spot a smarter way to organise stock, a step in production that keeps going wrong, or a process that wastes time, we want to hear it.
We're a small team and good ideas from anyone get acted on. You have strong attention to detail.
You are fine working in a warehouse environment, which can get cold, particularly in winter. Warm layers are part of the job. You have good common sense and communicate clearly, both on the phone and in person.
Desirable but not essential Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment. Interest in making, crafting, film, theatre, or cosplay. Confident phone manner.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
