Location: Heanor, Derbyshire (DE75 7HF & DE75 7PT)

Hours: 5 Hours per Week

Site 1 (DE75 7HF): 2.5 hours per week
Site 2 (DE75 7PT): 2.5 hours per week

About the Role

Clean Green Services Ltd are seeking a reliable and conscientious Commercial Cleaner to provide cleaning services at two residential schemes located in Heanor, Derbyshire.

Due to the nature of the residents and facilities within the schemes, this position is open to female applicants only in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within communal areas and ensuring that the buildings remain safe, clean, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities

Cleaning duties will include, but are not limited to:

Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping communal floors
Dusting and wiping surfaces, ledges, skirting boards, and handrails
Cleaning internal glass and entrance doors
Cleaning lifts, stairwells, corridors, and communal lounges
Cleaning and sanitising communal toilets and washroom facilities
Emptying litter bins and replacing bin liners
Spot cleaning walls and removing marks where possible
Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns
Reporting any bulk waste or fly-tipping found on site
Completing attendance records and cleaning logs as required

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
Reliable, trustworthy, and professional in manner
Good communication skills
Ability to transport cleaning materials and equipment between the two sites
Access to own transport is desirable

Equipment and Materials

All cleaning products, materials, and equipment will be supplied by the company. However, the successful applicant must be able to transport these materials between the two sites as part of their duties. The two sites are approximately one mile apart, making travel between locations straightforward. Access to a vehicle would be beneficial to enable the movement of cleaning materials and equipment between the schemes.
