Your Role:

As a Private Client Paralegal, you will play an important role within our growing Private Client team, supporting fee earners and assisting clients with a range of matters including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts.

You will manage a varied workload, provide excellent client service and work closely with colleagues to ensure matters progress efficiently and professionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Providing exceptional client care and acting as a professional first point of contact for clients and third parties.

· Managing client communications by telephone, email and correspondence.

· Handling new client enquiries and supporting the onboarding process.

· Drafting legal documents, including Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

· Assisting fee earners with Probate, Estate Administration and other Private Client matters.

· Preparing documents, correspondence and attendance notes.

· Obtaining information from financial institutions, HMRC and other organisations.

· Opening, maintaining and closing files in accordance with firm procedures.

· Undertaking legal research where required.

· Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Contributing to the continued success and reputation of the department.

Person specification - key skills/qualifications required:

· Educated to degree level or equivalent.

· Previous experience working within a legal environment is desirable.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail.

· Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems.

· Able to manage priorities and work effectively as part of a team.

· A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.

· Committed to delivering outstanding client service and supporting the values of the firm.
