Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Air Source Heat Pump Plumber and become a vital part of transforming energy efficiency in residential and commercial settings! In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air source heat pump systems that provide sustainable heating solutions. Your expertise will ensure systems operate at peak performance, delivering comfort and energy savings to our clients. We’re looking for motivated professionals eager to lead projects, troubleshoot complex equipment, and contribute to innovative heating technology advancements.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and troubleshoot air source heat pump systems in various properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heat pump units, including refrigerant recharges, component replacements, and system diagnostics
Interpret technical schematics and system diagrams to accurately assemble and troubleshoot equipment
Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during installation projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards are met
Diagnose issues related to mechanical components, electrical connections, and control systems to optimize system performance
Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and system documentation for each project or service visit
Provide expert guidance on system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance plans to clients for long-term efficiency

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge
Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring junior team members or apprentices
Strong background in equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
Construction experience or familiarity with building sites enhances your ability to navigate installation environments safely
Knowledge of maintenance procedures for HVAC units and related equipment is essential
Valid certifications or licenses relevant to plumbing or HVAC work are highly desirable
