At our Cramlington facility, we offer a fast-paced, exciting, and friendly working environment. Our in-house embroidery and printing department, along with our new Training & Innovation Centre, provides additional support services to our customers. We are a small but growing team, with several staff members having over 10 years of service. We are seeking a new team member who shares our values and can contribute to our continued growth.

Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Support to manage and develop relationships with customers mainly across Northumberland. The successful candidate will be responsible for retaining existing business, identifying growth opportunities with current and new customers, and delivering excellent customer service through proactive communication and account management.

This role requires a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working towards revenue targets and key performance indicators while building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and develop relationships with customers throughout Northumberland to retain and grow revenue.
Proactively contact customers through incoming and outgoing calls to maintain engagement and identify sales opportunities.
Conduct customer visits where required to strengthen relationships and support business growth.
Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customer enquiries.
Work closely with Customer Service and Operational teams to ensure customer orders are processed and delivered on time.
Support customers at the trade counter, including meet-and-greet responsibilities and assisting with enquiries.
Build strong product and service knowledge to provide effective solutions to customers.
Ensure all customer interactions are professional, timely, and aligned with company standards.
Reporting to the National Account Manager.
Meet agreed revenue targets and KPI performance measures.
Maintain and report on sales pipeline opportunities accurately and regularly.
Maintain accurate customer records and activity updates within company systems.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is preferable.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proven ability to work towards targets and KPIs.
Good organisational and pipeline management skills.
Confident handling telephone-based customer interactions.
Customer-focused approach with a proactive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments.
Competent IT skills including CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
