About the role
We're looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT team at Reassured.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, delivering excellent customer service and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in keeping colleagues connected and productive, providing hands-on support across hardware, software, networks and business systems.
Working as part of a collaborative IT team, you'll support users across the business, troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues, and help ensure our technology infrastructure runs smoothly with minimal disruption.
What you'll be doing
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support across hardware, software, network and user issues.
- Managing support tickets, prioritising incidents and ensuring timely resolution.
- Installing, configuring and maintaining laptops, desktops, mobile devices and business applications.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues both remotely and on-site.
- Supporting users across multiple office locations.
- Setting up new starters, user accounts, permissions and access rights.
- Assisting with technology rollouts, upgrades and business change projects.
- Creating and maintaining support documentation and user guides.
- Escalating complex issues where appropriate and following established support processes.
- Supporting the wider business with day-to-day IT requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for
- Experience supporting users within a Windows environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of desktop hardware, operating systems and networks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple issues at once.
- A genuine interest in technology and a desire to continue learning and developing.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jira or another IT ticketing system.
- Understanding of ITIL principles.
- Relevant IT certifications or qualifications.
- Experience supporting a multi-site business.
