Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Math & Science Teacher to join our dedicated team and deliver high‑quality, personalised education to students working in small groups or 1:1 settings. This is a role where your impact is visible every single day.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons up to GCSE level for individuals and small groups.
- Support nurture‑based programmes that build students’ confidence, wellbeing and readiness to learn.
- Monitor, record and report on student progress to ensure personalised, meaningful development.
- Create a safe, structured and stimulating classroom environment with well‑organised resources.
- Develop, implement and review Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans with the wider team.
- Lead on subject coordination across key stages as agreed with the Headteacher.
- Work collaboratively with LSAs, tutors, care staff and multi‑professional colleagues to ensure consistent support.
- Promote positive behaviour, manage challenges effectively and help students develop self‑regulation skills.
What We’re Looking For
- PgCert Ed/ QTS or equivalent required
- Experienced in teaching Maths and/or Science up to GCSE level.
- Skilled in adapting learning for individual needs and small groups.
- Confident working with students who may present challenging behaviour.
- Committed to safeguarding, inclusion and high‑quality education for all.
- A reflective practitioner who stays up‑to‑date with educational developments.
- A team player who values communication, collaboration and consistency.
