Job Overview
With the introduction of Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/tax advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the personal tax clients of the practice, ensuring the following duties are fulfilled;
Duties
- Ensuring the tax returns for the practice are all completed with the support of the team
- Completing tax returns for individuals
- Completing Making tax digital returns as required
- Advise Clients on Making Tax Digital and relevant software
- Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Clearbooks
- Assisting and supporting junior members of the team
- Reviewing the work of the junior members of the team
- Working with management team to distribute work across the team
Skills
- Experience using various accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage,
- Strong understanding of individual taxation
- Minimum of 5 years practice accountancy experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Qualifications Required (Part Qualified / Qualified):
· AAT/ATT qualification
Based in Scunthorpe. Salary will be dependent on the level of experience of the candidate, therefore a starting salary has been included.
This role can either be part or full time dependent on the candidate.
