Nick’s Motors is a busy, growing independent garage looking for an experienced technician to join the team.
We’re looking for someone who’s been in the trade a good few years, knows what they’re doing, and takes pride in getting the job done properly first time.
We’re ideally looking for a good all-round technician, although we’d also be interested in someone with strong diagnostic ability who wants to help grow that side of the business.
We’re building a workshop focused on quality work, good organisation, and an environment where people actually enjoy coming to work. We’re always improving and welcome people who can bring experience, ideas, and a good attitude to the team.
Job role
Servicing and repairs, Clutches and timing belts, MOT preparation and repairs, General mechanical and electrical work, Some diagnostics and fault finding
Opportunity to develop further in diagnostics as the business grows
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years experience as a technician
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience preferred
Confident working independently
Able to carry out bigger jobs like clutches and timing belts properly
Good fault-finding ability Works to a high standard with attention to detail
Reliable and takes pride in their work
An all round honest person
MOT
MOT licence is an advantage and would be valued within the role
Pay & package
Up to £43,000 depending on experience and ability
Full-time position
Holiday entitlement increasing with length of service

Important
This is not a trainee or semi-skilled role.
You’ll need to be experienced and able to work without supervision.
We’re looking for one great technician who can come in and add value straight away.
