Full job description

Hamleys is looking for a creative and experienced VM & Display Assistant Manager who will ensure consistent high levels of Visual Merchandising & Marketing Activations across all UK stores

Key Responsibilities:

To execute the vision of the Senior VM Manager
Collaborate with the Marketing team to coordinate all promotional strategies and marketing activity
Work closely with the Junior Designers and other stakeholders
To communicate actions and amendments for the Visual Merchandising and Design team as part of in store daily operations

Visual Merchandising, Display & Point of Sale:

Ensure product is merchandised and displayed in line with brand guidelines and to the highest standard
Educate and coach in store teams to enable to provide attractive yet commercial product layouts
Liaise regularly with the Store Management team regarding floor and fixture layouts providing regular feedback to achieve excellent commercial product presentation and promoting brand awareness
Assist in the development, production, installation, and maintenance of window displays and in store treatments and themes in line with the brand guidelines
Liaise with prop-makers and other contractors to ensure the correct delivery of projects in line with brand guidelines
End to End advisory support on new projects relevant to the role including input on initial concept, overseeing manufacture and installation
Monitor Point of Sale across all stores to ensure that it is correct, in line brand guidelines and to the highest standard

Financial Management:

Communicate directly with suppliers when required regarding costs and deadlines.
Monitor and track budgets on a regular basis to void surpassing budget
Operate within agreed budgets, communicating when required with suppliers and negotiating competitive costs

Location: Hamleys Head Office

Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours

Contract: Permanent
