Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Windscreen Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with both hand and power tools. As a Windscreen Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of windscreens in various vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Perform windscreen installations, repairs, and replacements on a variety of vehicles.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct thorough inspections of windscreens to identify damage and determine the appropriate course of action.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including proper disposal of materials.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Assist with heavy lifting as required during the installation process.

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to windscreen installation and repair.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the installation process.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. If you are passionate about automotive repair and have the skills necessary to excel as a Windscreen Technician, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
