Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Security Systems Installation Engineer to join our expanding team.
As a Security Systems Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and handover of a wide range of security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, access control systems, and fire alarm systems. You will work on projects ranging from small commercial installations to large-scale security deployments, ensuring all systems are installed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of CCTV, intruder alarm, access control, and fire alarm systems.
- Installation of containment, cabling, equipment, and associated infrastructure.
- Programming, testing, and commissioning security systems to ensure full functionality.
- Conducting system demonstrations and handovers to clients.
- Reading and working from drawings, specifications, and site plans.
- Diagnosing and resolving installation issues during project delivery.
- Ensuring all installations comply with relevant industry standards and company procedures.
- Completing installation documentation and maintaining accurate project records.
- Working closely with project managers, clients, and fellow engineers to ensure successful project completion.
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a Security Systems Installation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, intruder alarms, access control systems, and fire alarm systems.
- Experience with a variety of manufacturers including Hikvision, Dahua, Texecom, AJAX, Paxton, CTEC, FIKE and similar systems.
- Good understanding of networking principles and IP-based security systems.
- Excellent practical installation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation specifications.
- Competent PC and laptop skills with the ability to use commissioning and configuration software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites nationwide.
- CSCS card preferred. IPAF certifications would be advantageous but are not essential, as training can be provided.
