Poultry House Hygiene Supervisor- CLOSING DATE 24 JUNE
An opportunity is available to join our poultry house cleaning company based in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. We are a pressure washing company who specialise in the cleanout process of poultry farms for suppliers of chicken within the UK.
Job Description- To attend poultry farms based at various locations within the UK for the carrying out of in-house audits, supervise the wash teams and quality control during the cleanout process to ensure the required standard is provided. The main areas that will be covered are Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire however we do also cover further.
You must:
Have good communication skills, be resilient and positive.
Have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Experience working within the poultry industry an advantage.
Management/Supervisory experience of people.
A full UK clean driving licence
Problem solving skills and good organisational skills must be demonstrated.
Having a knowledge or experience of health and safety and agricultural background also an advantage.
Duties would include –
Some delivering of chemicals, which would include lifting a minimum of 25kg
Ability to document and report any issues/findings.
Communicate regularly/effectively with Management.
A vehicle will be provided, for work purposes only.
Salary 32,500K (Starting Pay) for Monday-Friday plus overtime opportunities. There will be regular requirements for Saturday and Sunday working which are paid extra plus overtime.
Please note our base is in Market Rasen and there will be regular days when the role would require attendance to this location so ideally the successful candidate would to live within a suitable commuting distance.
Start and Finish times will be variable depending on travel distance to site however some days will require early starts.
