Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Door & Window Manufacturer & Bench Joiner – Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves the fabrication and assembly of high-quality doors, windows, and bespoke cabinetry. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong craftsmanship skills, and experience working with various tools and materials. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise within a professional workshop environment, contributing to bespoke projects and large-scale manufacturing. All roles are paid, including internship positions, ensuring fair compensation for your skills and effort.

Responsibilities

Fabricate doors, windows, and custom cabinetry according to specifications and technical drawings
Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques to ensure precise fitting and finish
Operate a variety of machinery including saws, drills, sanders, and other woodworking equipment
Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards
Assist with the installation of finished products on-site when required
Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project specifications

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and joinery within a carpentry or woodworking environment
Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, hammers, screwdrivers, and measuring devices
Competence with power tools including saws, drills, sanders, and routers
Strong understanding of carpentry principles and construction techniques
Ability to work with various materials including timber, MDF, plywood, and other composites
Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical systems is advantageous but not essential
Physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling of materials throughout the workday
Attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship and quality control
Good organisational skills with the ability to follow technical drawings accurately
