Full job description

Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused individual to join our team, delivering plant equipment and attachments to construction sites while supporting the installation and testing of attachments on-site.

This is more than just a driving role. You'll be a key representative of our business, providing excellent customer service and technical support while ensuring equipment is delivered safely, efficiently, and ready for use.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering and collecting plant machinery and attachments from customer sites.
Safely driving a range of vehicles, including towing where required.
Assisting with the fitting and installation of plant attachments.
Connecting and matching hydraulic couplings.
Testing attachments, including flow and pressure checks, to ensure equipment is operating correctly.
Recording work completed using a mobile device.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the yard, workshop, and vehicle.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring equipment remains clean, organised, and serviceable.
Following all company Health & Safety procedures and industry regulations.
Providing a professional, friendly, and helpful service to customers at all times.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Full, clean UK driving licence.
Driver CPC and HGV Class 2 entitlement.
Good understanding of tachograph regulations and vehicle compliance checks.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.

Desirable:

HGV Class 1 licence.
Previous experience working with plant machinery or plant attachments.
Forklift Truck certification.
Mechanical or fitting experience.
