Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Security Officer to join our team in the Cyfarthfa Shopping Park

In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our clients' premises and assets while upholding the company's commitment to excellent service. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic security team dedicated to safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Monitor premises through surveillance systems and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft and ensure safety.
Conduct loss prevention activities by identifying suspicious behavior and managing incidents.
Operate CCTV equipment effectively to oversee security footage.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring prompt response to emergencies.
Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.
Report security incidents accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when required.
Maintain a professional presence that reassures staff and customers alike.
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail security or similar role.
Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
First aid certification is preferred.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid SIA Licence
