We work with contractors, consultants and utility companies to deliver technically robust engineering solutions for critical infrastructure projects.
We are seeking a Graduate / Junior Sales Engineer to join our Bromsgrove office. This is a development role designed to provide structured training, practical experience and ongoing mentoring, enabling you to become a professional Technical Sales Engineer
Training and Development
You will receive structured, on-the-job training across all aspects of the sales engineering process, including:
- Technical sales and customer support.
- Site surveys and the collection of technical information.
- Concept design and system layouts using CAD
- Estimating, tender preparation and commercial awareness.
- Product knowledge and engineering applications.
- Project coordination with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
As your experience develops, you will take increasing responsibility for customer enquiries and technical proposals, ultimately progressing towards managing projects independently.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications / Experience
Either:
A degree (BEng, MEng or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Manufacturing or another relevant engineering discipline.
A completed engineering apprenticeship with relevant technical experience.
Practical engineering experience in a mechanical, electrical or industrial environment with the ambition to develop into a technical sales role.
Technical Interest
A genuine interest in engineering systems and an enthusiasm for developing practical technical solutions for customers.
Communication
Good interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to build professional relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Organisation
A methodical approach with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Flexibility
A willingness to undertake customer site visits throughout the UK and work as part of a collaborative team based in Bromsgrove.
Driving;
Full Clean UK driving license preferred.
Key Responsibilities
As part of your development, you will be involved in:
- Assessing customer enquiries from contractors, consultants, end users and sales partners.
- Providing pre-sales technical support to customers throughout the UK.
- Undertaking site surveys and gathering technical information for project development.
- Producing concept designs and preliminary layouts using AutoCAD.
- Reviewing specifications and tender documentation to identify compliant engineering solutions.
- Preparing quotations, estimates and tender submissions.
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing, technical information and delivery schedules.
- Supporting customer meetings, technical presentations and project handovers.
- Coordinating project information between customers, design teams and internal departments.
- Maintaining customer, quotation and project records within the company's CRM system.
- Assisting with case studies, reference projects and the continuous improvement of sales documentation and estimating processes.
