Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated response Security Officer , on-site role located in Yeovil. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and premises. Daily responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas, monitoring CCTV systems, controlling access points, responding to incidents, reporting safety concerns, and adhering to company protocols. The Security Officer will interact professionally with employees, customers, and visitors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in surveillance and monitoring tools, including CCTV usage and access control systems.
Strong situational awareness and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and the public.
Capability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments with attention to detail and professionalism.
Previous experience in security roles or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
A valid SIA license
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the site location.
Commitment to maintaining a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Starting pay is £14ph and will be reviewed after a successful probabtion period.
