We are looking for a motivated Junior Production Engineer to join our Production Engineering team. This hands-on role will support electronics and mechanical assembly activities, production documentation, quality processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. It's an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their engineering career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Support PCB assembly, soldering, wiring, mechanical assembly and production build activities.

Assist with the creation and maintenance of work instructions, assembly documentation and wiring diagrams.

Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and quality control activities.

Work with Engineering, Production and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.

Contribute to continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.

Support prototype builds and provide feedback on manufacturability.

Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

HNC, HND, apprenticeship, degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Manufacturing Engineering.

Previous exposure to a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.

Basic knowledge of electronics assembly, soldering, wiring or mechanical fitting.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.

Understanding of quality and continuous improvement principles.
Location
This role requires you to work on-site at our modern manufacturing facility in Hereford - Before applying, please make sure you can commute to Coldwell Radio Station, Madley, Herefordshire, HR2 9NE
