Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the club premises ensuring that all standards are met while providing exceptional service to our members and guests. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence.

Duties

30 - 35 hrs per week, mainly weekend evenings.
Managing bar staff/rota's/training/support, stock control, cash/card transactions, cellar management.
Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and stock control
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service
Manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications

Experience or qualifications in stock control and cellar management.
Strong leadership skills with a calm and practical approach
Confident in dealing with difficult customer situations
Previous experience in a social club setting is preferred
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Basic math skills for inventory tracking and stock management
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
A passion for providing outstanding service and ensuring members and guests satisfaction
Personal licence preferred but not essential.
