Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on various types of buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to work at heights. The ideal applicant will possess relevant construction experience and be comfortable using a variety of tools and materials. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialised skills within the roofing industry while contributing to high-quality building projects.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and replace roofing materials
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently.
Conduct heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment to reach elevated work areas safely.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects whilst maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience in roofing or construction work is desirelble ; additional skills in welding are advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights on ladders or scaffolding.
Relevant construction qualifications or certifications are preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided where necessary.
Driving licence is essential.
