Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a number of skilled CNC Machinists to join our team during the late/night shift in Basingstoke. The successful candidates will be responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency with various manufacturing tools and software. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in machining and manufacturing processes to contribute to a dynamic production environment.

Duties

Program, Set up & Operate Mazak CNC machines to meet production requirements
Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Monitor machine performance
Ensure quality standards are met through inspection and measurement
Maintain a clean and organised working environment, adhering to H&S requirements
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines

Experience

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role
Experience working on a CNC Lathe, CNC Mill or Mill/Turn Mazak Machines
Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar programmes
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks
Understanding of safety procedures within a manufacturing environment

Hours

Late Shift:- 10:45am - 19:45pm (Mon - Thu) 7:30am - 12.30pm (Fri)
Night Shift:- 20:00pm - 6:00am (Mon - Thu)

Salary Dependent on Shift Pattern / Experience.
