Term Time Only | 12 hours per week
What “Term Time Plus” Means
This role follows the school calendar, meaning you will work during student term time only, plus an additional 2 days across the year. These additional days are typically used during key periods such as exam results, enrolment, training, and preparation days.
Although you will not work all year round and your salary is calculated on a term-time basis, your pay is spread evenly across 12 months, providing consistent monthly income while benefiting from extended time off during school holidays.
This structure offers the security of set working hours alongside an improved work–life balance compared to full-year roles.
Working Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 10:30 am - 1:45 pm
- Wednesday: 11:00 am - 1:30 pm
About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our school team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students by creating a safe, welcoming, and positive environment during lunch and break times.
You will support the smooth running of our lunch service, help maintain high standards of hygiene, and ensure students enjoy a calm, enjoyable, and well-organised lunchtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Cook in preparing and delivering meals on time.
- Supervise and assist students during break and lunch periods, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Operate cashless till points efficiently in food service areas.
- Help manage queues and maintain order during busy lunch periods.
- Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and hygienic, following all health and safety standards.
