ichiban UK is a privately owned sushi manufacturer producing own label and branded sushi for the UK market .
We are looking for Skilled Production Operatives at our site in Earl Stonham, near Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich.

That means you’re only at work half the year, with a consistent routine that makes it easy to plan your life around work.
Shifts are a 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off pattern 06:00-18:00 working the following shift pattern's;
Days 1: Working every Thursday to Saturday and alternate Wednesday's.
These roles also attract premium payments for weekend working and are on guaranteed hours contracts.
Transport- We have a bus service running from Ipswich to site for all shift patterns (£7.50 for a return ticket).

The roles purpose is to be involved in all aspects of preparation, manufacture, assembly, and packing of chilled food products to company and customer specifications, standards and procedures.
We offer great prospects if you wish to develop your career in the food industry. Full training will be given so although previous experience in food manufacturing would be nice, it's not vital.
Pay Rates
Days shift rate: £13.01 per hour
Additionally a £10 bonus per weekend day shift worked.
Please note, some job roles attract a bonus scheme (or higher rate), so may entitle you to an additional bonus rate. This will be subject to meeting the appropriate Qualifying Criteria for a particular Qualifying Period.
A 'training rate' of £12.71 per hour may apply whilst you are in training. As soon as you have been signed off as competent in the job, your hourly rate will increase to the above rates.
