Key Account Executive (Project Delivery & Account Management)
This is a full time, office-based role, in the centre of Hook in Hampshire (access to hybrid scheme outlined below once probationary period complete).
We’re looking for a highly organised Key Account Executive to join our friendly team in Hook.
This is a hands-on delivery role, not a traditional account management position. You’ll take full ownership of both client relationships and day-to-day delivery, ensuring projects run smoothly, challenges are managed calmly, and outcomes are delivered to a high standard.
You’ll be working across a mix of high-volume shorter-term waiting list clearance projects and lower-volume long-term contracts, coordinating therapists, managing stakeholders, and keeping delivery firmly on track.
This role suits someone who has an eye for detail, in control, and capable of calmly solving any problems
Details of the role
- Managing a portfolio of client contracts from mobilisation through to completion
- Taking hands-on responsibility for delivery, ensuring projects meet scope, KPIs, and timelines
- Coordinating therapists and resources to deliver consistently high-quality outcomes
- Monitoring progress closely, following up actions, and keeping delivery on track
- Managing multiple active projects simultaneously, often with competing priorities
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships
- Providing regular updates, reports, and leading client review meetings
- Managing invoicing, budgets, and contract performance
- Identifying risks early and resolving issues in a structured, pragmatic way
- Supporting smooth handover from business development into delivery
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Are hands-on and enjoy being close to delivery
- Bring a calm, measured and solutions-focused approach, even in busy or high-pressure situations
- Can de-escalate issues, maintain perspective, and focus on what needs to be done
- Are highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
- Take ownership and pride in delivering things properly
- Are professional, grounded, and reliable and can be a reassuring presence for both clients and colleagues
Skills and qualifications
The following skills and qualifications will be required/desirable:
- Experience in a delivery-focused account management, project management, or client-facing role is essential
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts
- A confident communicator who builds trust and credibility with clients
- A proactive, ownership-led mindset; someone who follows things through properly
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Experience within the healthcare industry is desirable but not essential.
- Willing to undertake a DBS check.
- Attention to detail and quality – above all else.
