We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform tyre installations, rotations, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tyres for wear and damage.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely.
- Assist in heavy lifting of tyres and equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre fitting or automotive repair preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to tyre maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 kg) as part of daily duties.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
