Full job description

We are a specialist coatings company working predominately within the manufacturing, construction, water and food industries.

You will need to be a hardworking individual, who is practical, flexible and has the ability to overcome problems as they arise, finding solutions in a timely manner. With the right aptitude, there will be the opportunity for further progression.

Working hours - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm – 30 mins for lunch

Responsibilities and Duties

Warehouse management – to make sure areas are clean and tidy.
Stock management – to ensure basic minimum stock items are maintained, placing orders as required.
Processing all stock movements in the stock system, Issues, returns, goods receipting.
To assist with incoming deliveries and to move items to correct allocated area within warehouse.
To issue PPE to lockers as requested.
To move stock items and equipment to Project Bays as requested by Project Managers, for collection by the Site teams.
Ensure the Returns bay is cleared each day and kept clean and tidy.
Ensure waste material is stored correctly.
Ensure chemicals are stored correctly and stock levels are maintained.
To assist with delivery/collection of company vehicles.
May be required to deliver urgent equipment/materials to site, which may require early starts/late finishes
Opportunity to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
To carry out vehicle checks and some minor maintenance on company vehicles.
General maintenance of yard, including managing skip exchanges & keeping yard tidy.
Supporting other team members as required.
Any other reasonable duties as required.

Required Experience/Qualifications:-

Clean Driving License essential
PC and iPad knowledge essential
Previous warehouse experience desirable
