£17.50 per hour | 40 hours | Mon, Tue, Wed & Sat
3 days off every week (Thu, Fri, Sun)
£36,400 guaranteed | £40k+ with overtime
Pilgrim Foodservice is an independent, family-run foodservice wholesaler supplying fresh, chilled, frozen, grocery and non-food products to hospitality customers across the UK. We serve customers across 17 counties and pride ourselves on reliability, quality and long-term relationships.
We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) to join our Transport team in Dereham, delivering foodservice products to our customers.
This is a multi-drop delivery driver role, where you will be the face of the business, ensuring customers receive their deliveries safely, accurately and on time.
About the Role
As an HGV Class 2 multi-drop driver, you will be responsible for delivering foodservice products to a wide range of hospitality customers including restaurants, pubs, schools and care homes.
This role is hands-on and physically active, involving manual handling and customer interaction throughout the day.
Typical responsibilities include:

Driving a Class 2 rigid vehicle on scheduled delivery routes

Completing multi-drop deliveries to hospitality customers

Safely unloading goods using appropriate equipment

Ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time

Providing friendly, professional service as the face of Pilgrim Foodservice

Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and driver compliance requirements
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role you will need:

A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

Driver CPC qualification
-
Digital Tachograph Card
-
A strong work ethic and good attention to detail

Excellent customer service and communication skills

The physical capability required for manual handling and foodservice deliveries
Applicants must also meet the company’s insurance requirements, and a driving licence check will be completed prior to interview.
