Full job description

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a semi-experienced gearbox fitter to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual who has experience, and is looking to further develop their skills. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Hours: 40 hours a week Monday - Friday No Weekends or Bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Removing and Fitting Gearboxes
Fault finding
Replacing bearings, seals and worn components
Supporting senior fitters with repairs and overhauls.
Ensuring all work is carried out safely to a high standard.
Maintaining a clean and organised work area.

Requirements

Previous Mechanical or Fitting experience.
Ability to use hand & power tools confidently.
Good attention to detail & willingness to learn and develop tech skills.
Reliable & punctual with a strong work ethic.
