We're looking for a talented and ambitious Social Media & Content Manager to take our content and social presence to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the brand, with genuine creative ownership and the chance to make a real impact.

Who is the role perfect for

Someone who is obsessed with social media and fashion, spends their spare time scrolling TikTok, spots trends before everyone else and gets excited about building brands.

We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do. Someone who is proactive, full of ideas and excited by the opportunity to help build something special and grow with us.

The Role

This is a brand-new position created to elevate our content output and social media engagement across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

You'll have genuine creative ownership from day one, taking the lead on content planning and bringing the nkdapparel brand to life across every platform. We're looking for someone who can take ownership, bring fresh ideas and become a key part of the business as we continue to grow and scale.

From planning shoots and creating content to building hype around launches and staying ahead of trends, you'll play an integral role in shaping the brand's social presence and driving its growth.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

Take ownership of the weekly and monthly content plan and posting schedule.
Plan, shoot and edit engaging content for all socials
Create engaging Reels, TikToks, Stories and static posts aligned with campaigns and product launches
Schedule and publish daily content across all platforms
Develop and manage content calendars aligned with launches, campaigns and business goals
Ensure there is always enough content captured and planned ahead
Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic and cohesive feed
Stay ahead of trends, audios and formats, bringing fresh ideas to the brand each week
Monitor key performance metrics including engagement, reach, saves, shares and follower growth, reporting on results and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Creative Direction & Shoot Planning

Work closely with the founder to develop creative concepts, campaign ideas and content strategies
Plan and organise photoshoots, including mood boards, locations, props and schedules.
Attend and assist on shoot days, capturing behind-the-scenes content and directing content creation
Create flat lays and product-focused content that align with the nkdapparel aesthetic
Ensure all content is executed to a consistently high visual standard

Launches & Brand Growth

Create excitement and hype around collection launches and campaigns
Develop launch concepts, countdowns and engagement ideas
Research and execute trending TikTok content and viral opportunities
Identify opportunities for influencer collaborations, creator partnerships and gifting campaigns
Assist with influencer seeding and outreach
Manage influencer gifting, paid collaborations and creator partnerships from briefing through to content delivery
Ensure there is always a pipeline of content ready to support launches, campaigns and key trading periods
Report on monthly performance and suggest opportunities for growth

Design & Community Management

Create engaging stories and graphics using Canva and Photoshop
Produce launch assets, countdowns and promotional content
Engage with our audience through comments, DMs and user-generated content
Help build a strong and loyal nkdapparel community
Ensure all content aligns with the brand's visual identity and tone of voice

Essential

✔ 2–3 years' experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing, ideally within fashion, lifestyle or e-commerce

✔ Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends and what drives engagement

✔ Experience editing content using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop or similar platforms

✔ A strong eye for aesthetics, styling and branding

✔ Confident both behind and in front of the camera

✔ Comfortable attending and helping direct shoot days

✔ Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

✔ Self-motivated and able to take initiative without constant direction

✔ Commercially minded and understands how content drives engagement and sales

✔ Passionate about fashion, activewear and social-first brands

✔ Full of ideas and excited to help grow a brand

✔ A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership and bring ideas to life

Nice To Have

Experience working within a fashion or e-commerce brand
Experience with influencer marketing and gifting campaigns
Shopify experience
Basic photography or videography skills
Experience with Meta Ads
Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom or Premiere Pro
